Caring And Counselling Centre

Individuals, Families and Groups Counselling Sessions such as ECDs, Schools, Churches and other Centres. (done on booking and appointment). .

Support Groups Girls talk, Boys to man, Ladies Sessions and Ubuntu & religion session.

Therapists activities Story-Telling mostly written by the Founder and some which are edited old tales, Religion and other beliefs Sessions, Music and Dance all mentioned are good for bruised spirit and team building..

About Us

Maubane Caring and Counselling Centre in short MCCC was founded by Dikeledi Modika an Unemployed Graduate of 2008 BA in Health and Social Sciences specializing in Psychological Counselling from Unisa.It started in 2019 with other 4 members whom were recruited and Officially registered in 2020 the registration Certificate was issued on 20 April 2021.

Our Mission

To make Counselling easily accessible and Affordable to individuals, Families and Groups To Empower, Prevent and Intervene through Counselling Sessions.in order to decrease the high level of Gender based violence,Violence Crime, Abuse and other social illness. Decreasing a high level of unemployment by more volunteers (Peace-Promoters) To publish our short stories collaborating with relevant stakeholders.

Our Implementation
  • On the Opening of the second week of January Centre awareness door to door reaching out on the vulnerable, Victims and others whom might need Counselling due to shortage of Peace-Promoters we never cover our 2ward in Maubane which is ward 15 and 16 because they large and consists of more than section each. This campaign we cut at the end of February. Through the year the Client has to make their own booking.
  • At the beginning of March, we start with our Calendar workshops and Events celebration
  • March human rights month and April Freedom month we do workshops at high school Career Guidance and Counselling in Collaboration with Unisa since 2022 cover Peer Pressure, Talks on right and responsibilities and to what extent are we free.
  • May as is workers Month our Volunteers covers the work that is left behind at Schools and other areas that we didn’t reach.
  • June youth month and July Mandela month we do the campaigns according to their commerating the children and celebrating youth month through group counselling sessions and events doing other therapic activities such as music, dance and other activities.
  • August is Women ’s Month we usually join others who invite us to the celebration for us August and September is time to revisit the Schools before start with their exams because we do. Career Guidance and Counselling twice a year at Schools.
  • October is Breast Cancer Month any other Organization who invite us we help in Celebration with them. At MCCC since is International Mental Health Month and our Priority is Mental health which we do through Counselling and other Therapic activities we do awareness Campaigns on mental health and Combine with November and December for 16 Days of activism against women and child abuse that mark our year Plan Program.
